The EA studio Cliffhanger Games, which was developing the new single-player Black Panther game, has been closed.
Thus, Black Panther will no longer be in production.
Cliffhanger Games was collaborating with Marvel Games to offer the gaming and Marvel community a game that would encapsulate the world of Wakanda, its technology, heroes, while also creating its own unique story.
The game was first announced in 2023 and has since been cancelled.
IGN reported that EA Entertainment President Laura Miele said EA has decided to dedicate its creative energy to pursuing more significant growth opportunities.
